Our President has been less than frank with the American people regarding the recent tragic events in Benghazi, Libya. Where is the outrage when the President, or any elected official, decides the truth is an acceptable casualty for any reason or purpose? Have we become a nation willing to excuse a lie as long as the consequences fall on some other poor soul? Has the truth become irrelevant? Is it okay to lie as long as our team wins? Do we believe there are only harmless lies? Do we really believe we won't become a victim of the liars among us? Has truth become a relative value? If you support or defend a liar, then you have become a liar as well. Revelation 21:8 from the Holy Bible (NASB) foretells the fate of the deceitful: "But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
