Subject: Donald Trump
I watched your
segment this week on the Fox News channel “Hannity Show”. I was
surprised at your attitude toward Donald Trump. Let me explain with an
analogy.
Imagine some
kind of metal mechanism, which has not been properly maintained and, after
years of neglect, has become severely corroded, to the point it no longer
performs its intended function. Simply applying sustaining and preventive
maintenance techniques will not restore the mechanism to a properly functioning
condition.
The mechanism
will require extraordinary measures to remove the corrosion, and will probably
require replacing a number of defective elements. And sometimes it’s
necessary to tear it apart and then rebuild it piece by piece, if you think
it’s worth saving.
I submit our
Congress, from years of neglect, greed and ineptitude, has reached a state of
such corrosion and resulting corruption that nothing short of a major overhaul
will yield any meaningful change.
Sad to say, but
we have become no different than most ‘banana republics’ or the African
‘democracies’ that emerged from European colonialization post WWII. Our
bureaucracies are bloated with sycophants and myrmidons of the ruling party,
people who possess no qualifications, experience or passion for their duties,
responsibilities and obligations. And worse, our governmental leaders
ignore their oaths of office and pick and choose which laws to enforce based on
their own ideologies, sensibilities and political motives.
I am not an
anarchist and I don’t wish to tear down the system. However, the system
needs a major overhaul and Donald Trump is the only candidate speaking of such
extraordinary measures.
