Letter to Juan Williams

Dear Mr. Williams:

I wrote to you a little over a year ago regarding your myopic adoration of our President. That letter had a critical tone but this letter will not.

I’ve watched you substitute for Bill O’Reilly on Friday evenings this summer and I must say you have done a superb job. What I saw was an interviewer focused on the truth and a balanced perspective on the issue at hand. What I saw was a newsman who respected his audience and wouldn’t allow the guests to spin their stories to fit their agendas.

I may be a conservative but I will admit that I can learn from a liberal who respects the rights of all people and who defends their right to be heard. I want to make up my own mind, draw my own conclusions from a fair and balanced debate and you didn’t interfere with that process. Well done Mr. Williams!

Respectfully,

Bill Monroe
Southlake, TX

P.S. I saw your special program last evening on education in America. You have given me hope for our educational system. Every teacher in America should see this program.
