Dear Governor O’Malley:
Your recent charge that the GOP has put the 2012 election before the need to restore our national economy demonstrates the most egregious problem in our American culture. How can we ever find a common path forward when we seem to have lost all regard and respect for the other person and their convictions.
I am a Christian-conservative and I deeply resent any suggestion that I am less compassionate than you just because my idea of compassion looks different than yours. The fact you would stoop to one of the lowest forms of political demagoguery is evidence itself of your inability to articulate reasonable and rational arguments for your own convictions. This is child-like behavior and quite unbecoming for anyone and especially for our elected officials. The people of Maryland and our nation deserve much better.
